ESTHÉLIS - DETAILED SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION

ESTHÉLIS - DETAILED SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION

1. Monophasic polydensified is the future

No granulomas and no cordon effects… for perfect and completely natural results

To fully understand the reasons why look at the following photos:

Biphasic gel
Do you see the particles? Biphasic products are heterogeneous and remain so, even during injections causing side effects such as  irregularities and cordons in the skin.

Monophasic monodensified gel
Can you see the uneven surface of this implant? Despite its monophasic nature its texture still shows some irregularities due to the single level of cross-linking. This causes side effects such as cordons and lumps in the skin.

Monophasic polydensified – Esthélis
Are you able to appreciate the perfectly smooth surface block of Esthélis? Its  nature and cohesive  polydensified matrix makes it completely homogeneous causing no side effects.

Better volume maintenance…

In the following animation, when you click on it, you can observe the different bio-degradation effects using biphasic products, monophasic monofensified and Esthélis (monophasic and polydensified) products. Imagine the consequences for skin tissue volumes and wrinkle-filling!

… and equally perfect long-term results
Esthélis offers very satisfactory long-term results with the average maintenance periods being approximately 9 months and in many cases even exceeding 12 months.

Comparative study on comparing Esthélis and another similar gel
Anteis carried out a comparative study between Esthélis and a biphasic gel. The images below show that, at day 21, on the same person injected with a different product in each naso-labial furrow, Esthélis offers clearly more convincing results in the short term regarding the filling effectiveness.

The last two pictures are taken after 240 days and prove that Esthélis provides a visible filling result over the long term.

2. Monophasic polydensified is the future
…and CPM is the leading-edge technology of the future

The true technological advances of Esthélis are the result of the unique patented manufacturing process:
The CPM technology (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix).

CPM technology is based on a dynamic cross-linking process which takes place in five key stages.

Stage 1
Pure hyaluronic acid

Stage 2
Linearization of the hyaluronic acid

Stage 3
First, classical, cross-linking of H.A. by adding BDDE

These first three stages are the same as those currently used
in the cross-linking process of any hyaluronic acid products.

Stage 4
Drawing the first cross-linked level

Stage 5
Second cross-linking, unique for Anteis, with the further addition of H.A. and followed by terminal purification.

These additional two key stages are the innovative part of CPM Technology, patented
by Anteis®, using a dynamic cross-linking process.

What is the result of this dynamic cross-linking process?

Two different density levels in a single product that is, however, monophasic, with:
  • Denser parts (more tightly cross-linked) that are designed to provide long-lasting results
  • Less dense parts (less tightly cross-linked) for gels that are easier to inject and  handle
  • A capacity to integrate into different zone of the dermis, without conceding any loss of volume or the long lastingness of the results.
Esthélis is the only range of monophasic fillers containing a Cohesive and Polydensified Matrix.
