CANNULA INJECTIONS

  NEW TECHNIQUE: cannula injections.
Blunt Cannulas are the most advanced technique for injecting dermal fillers. They are the injection tool of choice in Europe and are growing in use in North America. Cannulas are flexible blunt 'needles' with a side hole for product extrusion.

Since these cannulas are not sharp, they do not cut vessels so there is no bruising. Instead of cutting through the tissue like a needle, cannulas push tissue out of the way. Cannulas do not cut any nerve, muscle so very little discomfort is felt during or after procedures. We have succeeded to place dermal fillers even in the lips without the need of numbing. However, local anesthesia is offered if requested. With only 2-3 entry points, we can place the dermal filler anywhere is needed.
